Antonieta Landa

Director

Chilean curator and cultural administrator based in NYC. After moving to Shanghai in 2013, she founded AL Works, a curatorial platform with a presence in Santiago and Shanghai. The mission was to promote Latino contemporary art outside Latin American countries and escape from the exoticism associated with it.
In her practice, she researches the works of Latin American artists outside their homelands, specifically on the relationship between identity and territory. From an anticolonial perspective, she explores how multidisciplinary forms can intersect.
